Patricia “Pat” Mae Miles, 78, of Loganville, GA lost her battle with Leukemia and entered into eternal rest with her family at her side on August 27, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Dr. Georges Carillett officiating. Interment with immediate family will follow at Corinth Memorial Gardens.
Pat was born in Wheeling West Virginia September 1st, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mae Florence (Henderson) and James William Keefer and sister, Karen Hawkins. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ken Miles of Loganville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Angela Miles, Jr. of Loganville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Christine Anne and Mark Morrow of Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Jim Keefer and sister, Susan Bailey. Her grandchildren, Zach Miles, Emily and Jordan Yoder, Kyrie and Stephen Still, Elyse and Caleb Pierce, Cody Miles; great grandson, Nolan Yoder and 1 more on the way.
Pat loved Jesus, her family, animals and flowers. She faithfully served God, was always willing to volunteer her time at church or to help others, she was considered “mom” to everyone, and had a determined spirit almost to a fault. When she was feeling well, you could usually find her outside; watching and feeding the birds, sitting with her adored chickens, or pulling weeds in her flower garden around her beloved angel trumpets.
She had a tremendous love for her grandchildren, evidenced by every wall in her home. She had a soft spot for her grand fur babies; treating them like the valuable family members they are. She was always praying for and worrying about others. Even when she wasn’t doing well, she would ask you, “how was your day?” and say things like, “I heard that storm this morning, so I prayed for you on your way to work today.” Her love of life made a difference to all she came in contact with because of her love of Jesus.
