Robert Mitchell Swanson, age 82 of Monroe, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park.
Mitchell was a forklift operator for Kraft Foods. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Swanson, exactly one year ago. Mitchell is survived by his daughter & her boyfriend, Betsy Ann Swanson & Mark Gann of Marietta, MS; son & daughter-in-law, Todd & Kimberly Swanson of Monroe; brothers & sisters-in-law, Trenton & Connie Swanson of FL, Pat & Bobbie Swanson of Hoschton, Loy & Denise Swanson of Madison; sister & brother-in-law, Becky & Pervie Greeson of Social Circle; grandchildren, Josh Wright, Ashley Downs, Andrew Swanson, Ivey Swanson, Chloe Swanson; great grandchildren, Wyatt Wellington, Raelynn Phifer, Lexton Wright, Mattie Wright; and several nieces and nephews.
