Roney “Bubba” Towler, age 62 of Good Hope, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Ross Chapel Baptist Church, 1180 Snows Mill Road, Bogart, GA 30622 with Rev. Steve Hicks officiating. He will lie in state on Saturday prior to the service from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Roney was employed with Pike Electric as a supervisor and was a member of Ross Chapel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father; George Junior Towler; brother, Ricky Towler. Roney is survived by his girlfriend, Lisa Blackwell; son, Joshua Towler; mother, Helen Towler, brothers, Randy Towler, Jimmy Towler, Robbie Towler, Andy Towler; sisters, Patricia Hensley, Peggy Bailey; several grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
