Thomas L. “Bill” Harrison, age 94 of Loganville, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Sharon Baptist Church. Rev. Adam Herrington and Rev. Stacy Myers will officiate. Interment will follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Bill was born on July 24, 1926 in Loganville to the late Bartow & Etta (Smith) Harrison. He had retired from Rich’s, where he worked in the warehouse, and the Army National Guard. He had been a member of Sharon Baptist Church for 67 years as well as a deacon for numerous years.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Shirley Myers Harrison in 2018; son, Ronnie Lee Harrison in 1961; daughter-in-law, Beverly Malone-Harrison; and his siblings. He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, David & Ann Harrison of Loganville; son, Scott Harrison of Loganville; grandchildren, Michael Harrison of Kennesaw, Benjamin & Jada Harrison of Jefferson, Sherri & Daniel LaVelle of Loganville, Nicole & Kristofer Killian of Braselton, Matthew Harrison of Oxford, Matthew Malone of Loganville; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made in Bill’s memory to Sharon Baptist Church, 5690 Sharon Church Road, Loganville, GA 30052.
