William “Bill” Bright, age 99 of Monroe, GA, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Gardens, 490 Edmondson Road, Monroe. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the service.
Bill was a member of Pleasant Valley Methodist Church in Monroe. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances Marie (Vickery) Bright; son, Danny Bright; parents, Will and Emily Oneil (Congo) Bright.
Bill is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Marie (Steve) Hilliard of Newborn, Kathy Bright of Monroe; grandchildren, Donna (Gary) Maney of Newborn, Cissy (Steve) Reynolds of Monroe, Joshua Hilliard of Newborn, Kimberly (Frankie) Slone of Canton, Shannon (Jason) Benton of Good Hope, Marci (Gavin) Cisson of Dahlonega, Ryan (Heather) Doolittle of Madison, Jace (Morgan) Marquez of Acworth, and Heidi Marquez of Monroe; great grandchildren, Elijah Ford, Julianna Reynolds, Brody Hilliard, Cameron Speakes, Colton Speakes, Conner Speakes, Kaitlyn Speakes, Avery Benton, Bryce Benton, Braxtyn Benton, Jalyn Cisson, Brayden Cisson, Wesli Doolittle, Brooks Doolittle, Murray Marquez, Molly Marquez, William Taylor Grice; great-great grandchildren, Banks Benton, Cota Speakes, Kacey Speakes, and Caden Speakes; numerous family and friends.
