Eugenia “Jean” Parker, age 93, of Monroe, died on February 24, 2018. She was born in Walton County on June 4, 1924 to the late Emmie Whitley Swords and the late Myrtice Swords. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Grover Ray Parker; daughter, the late Peggy Mobley; and son, the late Phil Parker.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Cox of Monroe; sons and daughters in law, Benny R. and Janis Parker of Monroe, Mike and Marsha Parker of Monroe; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Pastor Hulon Knight officiating. Interment followed at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.
