James Robert Hogan, Sr., age 78, of Monroe passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Funeral Service will be at 2 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2018 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Barney Johnson will officiate. Cremation will follow at a later date. Mr. Hogan was self-employed as Plumber & Heating & Air Man. He loved going fishing, his family and his church. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Linda Day Hogan; Parents: William Paul & Eva Glass Hogan and he is survived by his Children: Jerry & Elaine Hogan of Monroe; Larry & Sondra Hogan of Newborn; Randy Hogan of Monroe; Dwight & Debra Hogan of Monroe; JR Hogan & Wanda Davidson of Monroe; Godsons: Lee Combs of Monroe and Brad Brannaman of Ocala, FL; Twin Brother & Sister-in-law: John Henry & Frances Hogan of Monroe; 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
