Sara Nell Farmer, age 95 died on September 24, 2017. She was born in Monroe, Ga on January 19, 1922 to the late Susie Cox Peters and the late Horace James Peters. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Otis Howard Farmer.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Atha of Monroe; son, Glenn Farmer of Monroe; brother and sister in law, Horace and Linda Peters of Monroe; grandchildren: Vic and Sherrie Farmer of Bethlehem, Michelle and Mark Mitchell of Athens, Kim and Robert Carter of Bethlehem, Rodney and Beth Atha of Gainesville; 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Sorrells officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
