Mr. Sydney S. Rickett, Jr., age 71 of Loganville, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Rusty Ruark will officiate. Interment will follow at Rock Chapel Historic Cemetery in Lithonia.Sid was a Deacon of Loganville Baptist Church and had retired as Vice President from Martin Sprocket & Gear Inc. with over 30 years of service. Sid was preceded in death by his parents, Sydney Rickett, Sr. and Louisa Van Brunt Rickett, and his sister, Betty Bellville. He is survived by his Wife of 51 years: Jane King Rickett; Son: Sandy Rickett; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Shannon & Marvin Kolin, Suzy & Craig Mason; Daughter-in-law: April Rickett; Grandchildren: Trey Kolin, Luke Kolin, Michael Mason, Anna Rickett, Sammie Kolin, Maddie Mason, all of Loganville; Sister: Suzanne Bellville of Newnan; many brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws; many nieces & nephews.
