Gerald Carter, age 85 of Loganville, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. A Graveside Service was held at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Corinth Memorial Gardens, 1635 Highway 81, Loganville. The family received friends 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM prior to the service at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Loganville.
Gerald was a brick mason for many years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Alice Ruth (Haney) Carter; daughter, Toni Smith; father, E.W. Carter; mother, Mattie Lou (Wheelis) Fulcher.
Gerald is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra (Franklin) Rutledge of Loganville, Glenda (Clay) Williams of Auburn, Lavonda Carter of Clarkston, Deanna Triplett of Loganville; brothers, Charles Randy Fulcher of Snellville and Leonard Lee Fulcher of Monticello; sister, Linda-Faye McCord of Loganville; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way.
