Kenneth “Ken” David Leverette, age 60, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away April 12th, 2026. A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, April 16th at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Loganville. The family received visitors from 1:00PM – 3:00PM on Thursday, April 16th at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Loganville.
Ken had a rare gift for finding the light in any situation, possessing a laugh that could fill a room and a quick wit that became his trademark. He never missed an opportunity to turn a mundane moment into a cherished memory, bringing that same vibrant energy to his life as a true rocker at heart. He found great joy listening to classic rock. When he wasn’t listening to the greats, he was a man who found peace by the water, finding a steady rhythm in the patience of fishing and the beauty of nature. This sense of balance carried over into his professional life, where he took immense pride in a job well done. Throughout his 13 years at South Eastern Security Professionals, Ken built an impeccable reputation for excellence, proving daily that his word was his bond and his work ethic was second to none.
He was a man who never did anything halfway, especially when it came to providing for the people he loved most. Ken stood as the cornerstone of his family; his marriage was a beautiful testament to enduring love, partnership, and a level of commitment that served as an inspiration to everyone around him. More than just a family man, he was the steady hand and the warm heart that kept his loved ones grounded. He was a father figure to many. As a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Ken’s legacy will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kathy (Stansell) Leverette; daughter Jessica (Scott) Carter; grandchildren, Kenneth Chase Carter, Nena Danielle Carter, Piper Ann Carter; his father and mother-in-love, whom he considered as his own, Charlie & Joann Stansell; and many other loving friends and family.
