Obituary: Kenneth Wayne Adams, 70, of Monroe

Kenneth Wayne Adams, age 70, of Monroe, died on August 21, 2018. He was born in Walton County on February 14, 1948, to the late Polly Stepp Adams and the late Ralph Adams. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother in law, the late Dean Brown and the late Mell Brown. He is survived by his wife, Merrelyn Adams; son, Benjamin Adams; daughters and sons in law, Ellen and Josh Smith, Jill and Jordan Weldon; sister and brother in law, Ann and Joe Hammonds; grandchildren: Hayleigh and Ethan Smith, Emersyn, Caz, and Jax Weldon.

A funeral service was held on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Harmony Baptist Church with Dwayne Hicks and Jordan Weldon officiating. Interment followed at Harmony Baptist Church. A memorial service also was held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Carrollton First Christian Church.
