Obituary: Lynn Walter Ross, 86, of Loganville

Lynn Walter Ross, age 86, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away April 25th, 2026. A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 30th, at 2:00 PM at Woodlake Baptist Church, 3940 GA-138, Covington, GA 30014.

Lynn was a faithful and active member of Woodlake Baptist Church. Lynn’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. He led by example, showing his children and grandchildren a strong and unfailing love he had for the Lord. In his younger years, he was a coach for several youth sports teams. This included coaching for baseball, softball, and football. He not only coached his children’s teams but helped guide many young athletes in the community.

Lynn was a family man above all else. He was the steady anchor for his loved ones, providing a home filled with warmth and a heart filled with unconditional love. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be deeply missed.

Lynn is preceded in death by his loving wife, Francine (Shepard) Ross; parents, Harry & Edith (Leonard); siblings, Carol Koepkey, Nell Mosley, and Harry Ross. He is survived by his children, Kelly (Mark) Gasaway, Darin (Christina) Ross, and Edith Sue Ross; grandchildren, Ashely Gasaway, Brittany (David) Seigler, Kelsey Gasaway, Sydney Ross, Andrew Ross, and Shea Ross; great grandson, Kyle Seigler; and many other nieces & nephews.
