Obituary: Mayra Lozano, 34, of Loganville

Mayra Lozano, age 34, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away February 22nd, 2026. A funeral service was held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2026, in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, with Pastor Dhelvin Carmona officiating. Interment followed the service at Gwinnett Memorial Park, 925 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.

Mayra will be remembered as a radiant light whose love and warmth touched countless lives. Mayra was, simply put, a bundle of love and joy. She possessed a remarkable ability to illuminate every room she entered, filling spaces with laughter, warmth, and an infectious energy that uplifted everyone around her. She found her spiritual home at Casa De Fe, where she was a devoted member. To her, worship music was more than just notes on a page—it was her way of connecting with God and sharing a sense of peace and hope with everyone around her. Beyond her musical heart, she was a woman of sharp intellect and unwavering work ethic. She dedicated 12 years of her career as a Paralegal, serving as a steady hand and a brilliant mind within the legal community. Above all, Mayra was a devoted and loving mother to her cherished daughter, Aaliyah Lozano, affectionately known as “Ali Bear”. Through her worship, her talents, and her generous heart, she uplifted others and created a sense of belonging wherever she went.

Mayra is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Zoila Viera Najera. Mayra is survived by her loving daughter, Aaliyah Lozano; parents, Jorge & Francisca (Najera) Lozano; siblings, Claudia (William) Hernzandez, Patricia (Fransico) Rivera, Ruth Lozano, Susie (Julian) Madrid, Jorge (Anais) Lozano; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews. The family received visitors at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville on Thursday, February 26th from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
