Samuel Elder Pannell, age 72 of Monroe, passed away on April 3, 2026. He was born on April 11, 1953 to the late William Guy Pannell and the late Edith Elder Pannell.
Surviving are wife, Elaine Farmer Pannell; daughters, Casey Eden and Avie Winter; sisters, Dean Farmer, Linda Davis, Sherrie Malcom, Teresa Patterson, and Jane Quick; brother, Nathan Pannell; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A visitation was held on Monday April 6th at the Monroe Church of God from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services followws on Monday April 6th at 2:00 PM at Monroe Church of God with the Rev. Wayne Durden and Rev. Kip Boswell officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Garden. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
