BETWEEN, GA (Aug. 19, 2025) If you live in the town of Between in Walton County, Ga., and wish to run for one of the two at-large seats on the Town Council, or for the position of mayor, you have until 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, Aug. 20, to qualify.
According to a press release from the town of Between, qualifying for the Nov. 4, 2025 town of Between Elections began on Aug. 18, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 20, 2025.
Two (2) at-large town council member positions are up for reelection as well as the mayor.
Town of Between residents who wish to run for any of these positions may pick up a qualifying package at 3020 Sweetwater Trail, Monroe, Georgia 30656 on the dates noted above.
The completed qualifying package must be returned to the same address by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20 complete with qualifying fees. These are $72 for council members and $144 for mayor. Checks or money orders shall be made out to the Town of Between.
Qualifying packages not completely filled out with the qualifying fee and returned after the date and time listed will not be processed.
