Gwinnett County has received reports of scam emails impersonating Gwinnett Planning and Development and Planning Commission staff and requesting wire transfers for zoning applications. These emails may include fraudulent application approval fees, fake invoices, or counterfeit approval letters.
Gwinnett Planning and Development will never request payment via wire transfer, money order or suspicious links, and all payment for zoning applications are processed through GwinnettZIP.com.
If you receive a suspicious email, do not send a wire transfer, click on any links, or provide payment or personal information.
