The City of Monroe kicks off its Christmas shopping season downtown Thursday when it lights up the streets and stays open for extended shopping hours. And Social Circle downtown officially gets in on the action this weekend.
Deep South General Store is hosting its Christmas Open House and Bake Sale from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday. The store is located at 136 Sycamore St. in Social Circle.
“We’ll be staying late Friday night, working diligently like little elves to turn the store into a festive wonderland. You can look forward to brand new Christmas merchandise. Three of our talented bakers will be on-site selling delightful sweets. Additionally, we’ll be selling some of our fantastic Deep South Chili and Up in Smoke Brunswick stew. Mark your calendars and let’s celebrate the holiday season, Deep South Cattle style,” Deep South General Store noted on its Facebook page.
Get there early! The first 20 customers will receive a special giveaway!
