Stone Mountain man, 21, charged in Gwinnett County triple murder over the weekend

Gwinnett County Police have charged Justice R. Lusk, 21, of Stone Mountain, with three counts of Felony Murder, three counts of Aggravated Assault, and three counts of Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony in the death of three men in Lawrenceville Saturday afternoon.

The victims have been identified as Eugene McClam, 45, of Lawrenceville, Steven Finch, 33, of Arabi and Robert Caverly, 64, of Lawrenceville. McClam and Caverly were residents of the home where the alleged homicides took place. 

According to an earlier press release, shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 21, officers with GCPD were dispatched to a “person shot” call at a home on Creek Water Court in the Lawrenceville area of Gwinnett County.  Officers found one victim in the cul-de-sac suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died. There was a nearby home with the garage door open and inside the home they found two more men, already deceased.

Following a search with a K9 unit and the police helicopter, Lusk was captured late Saturday night near the scene of the crime. He was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail at around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
