Support Monroe Police Department on National Night Out

On Tuesday, Aug. 1, the City of Monroe Police Department is participating in National Night out, along with 38 plus million neighbors and thousands of communities from all over the country.

MPD is inviting the community to to join them in the Pilot Park to celebrate with them. Activities include games and an obstacle course with the officers – along with a spraying down from the fire hose!

This annual event, originally organized in 1984, is a day set aside to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, better places in which to live.

You are invited to join MPD in the park for food and fun with local heroes. The event takes place from 3 – 6 p.m. Hamburgers and hot dogs are being provided by Walton EMC. The Pilot Park is the 1.5 acre mini park located at 515 Church Street in Monroe.
