You are invited to create a meaningful layered clay bowl while reflecting, slowing down, and exploring personal expression in this gentle workshop with Gracy Bondy.

Workshop Details

  • Participants will use air-dry potter’s clay to create a layered, handcrafted bowl.
  • The workshop combines hands-on art with gentle prompts encouraging reflection on:
    • Meaningful people
    • Important experiences and memories
    • Personal values
    • Moments that have shaped participants
  • The focus is on personal expression and the creative process rather than artistic perfection.
  • Participants can work at their own pace and make individual choices about shape, texture, layers and details.
  • Sharing personal thoughts or stories is completely optional.

About Gracy Bondy

  • Certified Therapeutic Arts Practitioner
  • Nearly 20 years of human-services experience
  • Walton County native
  • Artistically trained at Penland School of Craft
  • Holds a degree in counseling
  • Has additional training in therapeutic arts, grief support, trauma-informed facilitation and nature-based practices
  • Her approach is described as strengths-based, relational and non-clinical.

Workshop Experience

  1. Arrive and settle into the creative environment.
  2. Begin with a gentle reflection prompt.
  3. Build a layered bowl using air-dry clay.
  4. Add textures, marks and personal details.
  5. Reflect and complete the piece.
  6. Take the finished bowl home to air-dry.
