BETWEEN, GA (Aug. 20, 2025) – At the close of qualifying on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025 the Town of Between was able to establish that it will not require an election on Nov. 4, 2025. All three incumbents were the only candidates for the positions of mayor and two at-large council seats.
“As of the close of the qualifying period, August 20, 2025 at 4:30 pm, no additional qualifying packages were received. As a result, the candidates listed above will assume the positions, without an election, on January 1, 2026,” Incumbent Mayor Robert J. Post said.
Post, and incumbent Between council members William F. Boswell and Steven M. Koehike, will finish out their current terms at the end of 2025 and take up new terms at the beginning of 2026.
