UGA Extension Office to host Lunch and Learn March 5 on Understanding Poison

Collaboration on community health between Piedmont Walton and Walton County YMCA

The next lunch and learn will be facilitated by the UGA Extension Office and will focus on radon poisoning- what it is, why it matters and how families can protect themselves. Radon is a naturally occurring gas found in indoor air and well water, and it is the second leading cause of lung cancer.

The session will take place Thursday, March 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Walton County YMCA boardroom.
