Update: 3 charged after drug warrants executed at home on Old Highway 138

Update:

Walton County Sheriff’s Office report that three people were arrested in connection with the warrants served at 5110 Old Highway 138 in Walnut Grove on Wednesday evening.

Kimberly Kristina Green, charged with possession/manufacture of a controlled substance,

 

 

Martin Bankston

Martin Drake Bankston, charged with possession/manufacture of a controlled substance and forgery in the second degree and

 

 

 

 

Casey Mockbee

Casey Allen Mockbee, charged with obstruction of officer, possession/manufacture of a controlled substance, two counts of a felon  in possession of a weapon, two counts of possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a crime and theft by taking.

 

 

 

“There is no doubt that the community is much safer with them off the streets,” WCSO Chief Deputy Chief Brooks said, making particular note of the long list of charges against Mockbee.

Update:

Walton County Sheriff’s Office report that a suspect in hiding at a home on Highway 138 at Guthrie Cemetery Road in Walton County has been located and is in custody at the Walton County Detention Center. Details on the circumstances of the arrest and charges filed to follow.

In a post on WCSO Facebook page, it was noted that the suspect had multiple felony warrants. After deputies obtained warrants and approached the residence, they learned the suspect had concealed himself in the attic. When deputies entered the attic, they located the suspect concealed in the insulation. He was arrested and transported to the detention center where he is facing six felony charges that include possession of firearm by convicted felon, possession of firearm during a felony and trafficking in methamphetamine. Initial story

Officials with Walton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies are on the scene of an alleged drug bust at a home on Highway 138 at Guthrie Cemetery Road in Walton County. WCSO Chief Deputy Keith Brooks said deputies are trying to locate a suspect.

Several witnesses have reported a lot of law enforcement activity on the scene. Will update with details when available.
