Update:
Trooper First Class Cal Barton with Georgia State Patrol said a two-vehicle accident involving three teens from Loganville happened at 7:05 this morning, Monday, May 22, 2017.
Barton said Vehicle 1, a 2004 Ford Taurus, driven by Benjamin Butler, 17, was turning left from Lancelot Court onto Broadnax Mill Road to travel south. When it entered the intersection, it struck a 1993 Ford Truck, Vehicle 2, driven by Kyle McCart, 18, which was traveling north on Broadnax Mill Road.Dylan Dockery, 18, was a passenger in the truck.
“When vehicle 1 entered the intersection, it struck vehicle 2 in the right side causing it to overturn several times. The driver and passenger of vehicle 2 required extrication and were transported to Clearview Medical Center with minor injuries,” Barton said. “Driver 1 was not injured and was cited for Failure to Yield after stopping at a stop sign.”
Update:
Walton County Fire Rescue report that two students from Loganville High School were transported to Clearview Regional Medical Center with minor injuries following a wreck on Broadnax Mill Road on Monday morning, May 22, 2017.
“Both injuries were the occupants of the pickup truck. They had to be extricated from the vehicle by FD personnel,” League said. Georgia State Patrol is working the wreck.

Battalion Chief Craig League with Walton County Fire Rescue confirmed that they are working a wreck on Broadnax Mill Road in front of Cevera Lake subdivision. Broadnax Mill Road is currently shut down so motorists are urged to avoid this area.
