Update: Armed robbery Monday at CVS in Loganville was 2nd in as many weeks

Loganville officials confirm that the armed robbery at CVS in Loganville on Monday night was the second one in as many weeks. Another had occurred at the same location on July 10th. There also have been at least one, possible two, prior to that, but officials don’t believe it has been the same perpetrator in each of the incidents. Nor do they feel the public would be able to assist with identification of the latest suspect from video as his face was covered. However, if anyone has any information that could help in solving any of the armed robberies, they can contact Loganville Police Department at 770-466-8087.

Initial story

Loganville officials confirm that an armed robbery occurred at CVS in Loganville at about 11:28 p.m. Monday night. The CVS store is located at the corner of highways 78 and 20.

According to Loganville city officials, in-store video shows a white male or light skin black male enter into the business. He was dressed in dark clothing and his face was covered. Police say the man placed a large stick on the ground in the doorway where the door sensor would keep the door open to the business. He then brandished a firearm and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say no one was injured during the incident.
