Update: Kyle Xavier Jackson, 21, of Lawrenceville was charged following a hit and run accident involving a truck and motorcycle in Loganville on Wednesday. He was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to yield.
Update: Officials with the City of Loganville report that they have a suspect in custody following Wednesday’s hit and run accident involving a motorcyclist and a truck and trailer. Robbie Schwartz, public information officer for the city, said that the name will be released once the investigation is complete and charges are filed. Schwartz said the truck pulled out onto the roadway and into the path of the motorcycle that was on Highway 78. The truck then fled the scene. The motorcyclist was transported by air ambulance to Gwinnett Medical Center, where, according to a Gofundme Account set up in his name, Chris “Mater” Moore is recovering from a broken leg, punctured lung and several other related injuries. Update: Officials with the City of Loganville confirm that a motorcyclist was lifeflighted following an accident involving a truck pulling a trailer on Highway 78 in front of Ingles in Loganville. Robbie Schwartz, public information officer with the City of Loganville, said that the truck then fled the scene.
“The victim was conscious and talking, but he was lifeflighted as a precaution,” Schwartz said. At this time he does not have details on whether police have caught up with the driver of the truck.

A lifeflight helicopter landed in the Ingles parking lot in Loganville following an accident. Traffic is backed up on Highway 78 through Loganville. Avoid the area if possible.
