Dry Pond Road is closed between Drivetime Spur and County Road 214 at the moment.
Initial Story
Walton County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire at 1870 Dry Pond Road near Gratis at about 4:29 p.m. this afternoon.
“(The) house was fully involved upon arrival. Defensive operations were conducted and the fire was brought under control after about a half hour,” Capt. Jeff Allen from WCFR said. ” One very minor injury to an occupant.”
Allen said Monroe Fire Dept provided assistance on the scene.
