Update
Officials in Loganville have identified the victim in the fatal car accident as Mohammed Basit Omotayo Kassim, 22, of Loganville.
Initial Story
The Loganville Police Department is currently working a single car accident on Highway 81 north between Bay Creek Road and Watson Mill Road.
“The single-car accident likely took place sometime last night but the car was just recovered. It did result in a fatality,” Robbie Schwartz with the City of Loganville said. “The car was a 2018 Lexus Sedan.”
Schwartz said no other information is available at this time as this remains an active investigation.
