MACON, Ga. – Walton County Farm Bureau member Aiden Cameron has been named a recipient of a Georgia Foundation for Agriculture (GFA) Scholarship.
Cameron is one of six students statewide selected to receive a $1,500 GFA Technical College Scholarship for Agriculture.
“Part of our mission with the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture is to see that the agricultural leaders of tomorrow get the education and training they need,” said GFA Board Chairman and GFB President Tom McCall. “These scholarships are an investment in the future of agriculture in Georgia, and we’re excited to see what these students can do.”
Cameron, the son of Jane and Paul Cameron is a 2026 graduate from Prince Avenue Christian School. He plans to attend the Athens Technical College and study business and welding.
The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture scholarships recognize deserving and outstanding students pursuing an agriculture or ag-related degree at an eligible technical college (such as welding, diesel mechanics, vet tech) or college in the University System of Georgia, Berry College or Emmanuel University. Instructions for applying for the 2026-27 scholarships will be posted on the GFA website this fall.
