The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for Monday, July 24, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
ZONE 1
Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on Highway 138 and HD Atha Road. No known injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office worked the scene of the accident.
Arrest: Arthur James Anthony was arrested at a residence on Cannon Farm Road for Disorderly Conduct, Telephone Harassment, and Obstruction.
ZONE 2
Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on Trotters Lane. No known injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office worked the scene of the accident.
ZONE 3
Arrest: A male subject was arrested at a residence on Brindle Farmer Road for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Fraud: Deputies took a report at a residence on Ridgeway Drive in reference to an individual attempting to get the complainant to cash fraudulent checks.
ZONE 4
Arrest: Demaurye Heard was arrested at a residence on South Madison Avenue for a warrant out of Morgan County following a suspicious vehicle report.
ZONE 5
Fraud: Deputies took a report at a residence on Pine Drive in reference to an individual scamming complainant’s bank account through a fraudulent check.
ZONE 6
Fraud: Deputies took a report at a residence on Sandy Creek Road in reference to an individual making unauthorized transactions on complainant’s credit card.
ZONE 7
Fraud: Deputies took a report at a residence on New Horizon Drive in the Wagon Trail subdivision in reference to an individual taking money off the complainant’s debit card.
Fraud: Deputies took a report at a residence on Nunnally Farm Road in reference to an individual making unauthorized charges on complainant’s credit card.
Arrest: Eddie Carter was arrested at Youth Jersey Road and Robertson Road for a Probation Violation warrant out of Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop.
