The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Monday, Jan. 28 to, to Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Monday, Jan. 28, 2019
Arrest- Zachary Duryea was arrested in the area of Highway 278 for Failure to Maintain Lane, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Possession of Schedule I Drugs (THC Oil) following a traffic stop.
Arrest- Maria Boyzo was arrested in the area of John Stowe Road and Daniel Cemetery Road for Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Seat Belt Violation and Failure to Maintain Lane following a single vehicle accident with minor injuries. Accident worked by Georgia State Patrol.
Arrest- Gustavo Marban-Arbaca was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Gum Creek Church Road for Driving While Unlicensed following a traffic stop.

Arrest- Johnny Cowart was arrested at a residence on Line Street for an outstanding warrant out of Newton County.
Arrest- Dorthy Minis was arrested in the area of Highway 78 near Andrew’s Pest Control for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Xanax, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Contraband Across Guard Lines, and Taillight Violation following a traffic stop
Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019
Arrest- Kristopher Green was arrested in the area of Highway 81 near the Newton County line for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop.
Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of John Stowe Road for Failure to Obey Traffic Control Device in reference to a semi-truck on a no truck route.
Hit and Run Accident- Deputies responded to the area of Double Springs Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown motorist in a black in color passenger vehicle struck the complainants vehicle and fled the scene around 9:20 pm. No known injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.
Arrest- Suspect was arrested in the area of Natalie Court for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a suspicious vehicle call.
Agency Assist- Walton County Sheriff’s deputies assisted Loganville Police Department with the arrest of Reginald Hudson in the area of McCullers Road for Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Maintain Lane, Driving While License Suspended, and Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle following a traffic stop.
