The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Monday, Aug. 27, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
ZONE 1
Arrest- Derall Hires was arrested in the area of Walnut Avenue and Leone Avenue for an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County following a traffic stop.
Arrest- Janis John Jackson was arrested at a residence on Valley Drive for an outstanding warrant out of Newton County.
ZONE 4
Arrest- Jerry Winter was arrested at a residence on Highway 11 for Criminal Trespass and Aggravated Assault following a dispute.
ZONE 6
Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Youth Monroe Road for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.
Arrest- Lisa Whetzel was arrested at a convenient store on Highway 20 for Possession of Schedule II Drugs and Possession of Prescription Drugs Not in Original Container following a suspicious person call.
ZONE 7
Arrest- Athens Barnett was arrested in the area of Highway 81 near Corn Dawgs for an outstanding warrant out of Monroe Police Department following a suspicious vehicle call.
