The Walton County Sheriff’s Office and Deputies Beyond the Badge are inviting the community to take part in the “Investing in Our Youth” Clay Shoot this Friday, May 15, at Burge Plantation in Mansfield.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. at the plantation, located at 44 Jeff Cook Road. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Walton County 4-H S.A.F.E. Teams, with funds distributed evenly among the four shooting teams.
Organizers say limited spots still remain for individuals and teams interested in participating in the clay shoot fundraiser. Community members are encouraged to sign up and support local youth through the event.
Sheriff Keith Brooks and Deputies Beyond the Badge thanked the community and sponsors for their continued support and said they are looking forward to a great day on the course.
