WCSO to host National Night Out in Loganville on Aug. 1

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is hosting this year’s National Night Out—Walton County’s Stand Against Crime on Aug. 1, 2017. The event will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. at Meridian Park in Loganville.

“This is a crime prevention event for all of Walton County to attend, and we ask that you join us! Come out and take advantage of food and fun for all ages. This will also provide you with the opportunity to get resources and network face to face with local government and community organizations,” WCSO said in a Facebook post announcing the event. “We will also have special recognition for the subdivision or roads with the most residents in attendance. So please come out and support this effort. Hope to see you all there!”

If you have any questions or would like more information on this event you can call the Crime Prevention Division at 770-266-1514

This annual event, originally organized in 1984, is a day set aside to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, better places in which to live.
