Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will install multiple lanes closures on Interstate 85 to allow the contractor to patch portions of the northbound and southbound lanes. The lane closures will be from Jimmy Carter Blvd to Pleasant Hill Road in both the north and southbound lanes. This work will begin on March 26 and will last until June 28 during the weekend hours, beginning at 9 p.m. on Fridays and lasting until 5 a.m. on Mondays.
This work will consist of milling, patching, debris removal, and installing traffic markings. This project is expected to be complete late August 2021.
