COVID-19: Death toll in Georgia rises to 13 ; number of positive cases rises to 420

The Georgia Department of Public Health reported that the death toll as a result of COVID-19 in Georgia went up to 13. The number of confirmed cases has risen to 420. These figures were released by the Georgia DPH on Friday, March 20, 2020.

This still does not include any known cases in Walton County. The employee at Hitachi in Monroe who was identified Tuesday is not a resident of Walton County There is no official information on the 24 cases marked as “unknown.”
