COVID-19: Georgia death toll rises to 10; positive tests rise to 287

The Georgia Department of Public Health reported that the death toll as a result of COVID-19 in Georgia has risen to 10. The number of confirmed cases has risen to 287. These figures were released by the Georgia DPH just before noon on Thursday, March 19, 2020. This still does not include any known cases in Walton County. The employee at Hitachi in Monroe who was identified Tuesday is not a resident of Walton County
