COVID-19: Georgia death toll rises to 14; 485 confirmed cases

Within less than 7 hours of the last update, the Georgia Department of Public Health reported that the death toll as a result of COVID-19 in Georgia went up to 14 and the number of confirmed cases went up 485. These figures were released by the Georgia DPH at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2020.

This still does not include any known cases in Walton County. The employee at Hitachi in Monroe who was identified Tuesday is not a resident of Walton County There is no official information on the 31 cases marked as “unknown.”
